Beginning in January, I will offer 3 months of FREE spanish 1:1 classes. *Yes, you read it right!!!! *…..its about 36 FREE spanish 1:1 sessions
Rules of the game!!!
- This offer is for one person only.
- Free one hour classes three times a week, January through March.
- Student MUST be a complete beginner.
- Commit to 3 days per week. One hour class.
- Have excellent audio. Excellent mic….excellent speakers. No echo, no lag time
- Have excellent internet connection.
- Before beginning, record yourself stating that you're a complete beginner and that you're commiting to this offer.
- Periodic proof of advancement in spoken spanish. Could be through short video clips of the student talking in the target language. Links MUST be posted on the forums.
- Record yourself speaking in spanish after the 3 months period.
At the end of 3 months, there will be a NOTORIOUS improvement. The student will be able to hold short conversations in spanish. Which, he/she could NOT do at the beginning.
Attendance Policies
- Tardiness and NO SHOWS will not be accepted. I'll simply terminate my offer.
- 10 minutes grace period. I'll close the classroom after 10 minutes, and consider the class a NO SHOW
- Only 3 absences per month are allowed, unless a very valid reason is provided.

If this guy is trying to get long-term committed students by trying thi he has a lot of guts. Edufire, while a totally different business model has several interesting features. I think they are particularly good at developing a "socal web" for their students. Many people I talk to say that they feel much more comfortable participating in forums there than ours at WIZIQ. I don't know that having a portal that caters to social web-heads is desirable but we do need to find a better way to get all into a "community" mindset with sharing the norm instead of the exception.
