Edupunk Update

by George Machlan
Posted on 16 August, 2012

Hi all of my Edupunk English friends.  The transition to paid classes is now complete.  I hope that we at least stay in touch HERE on my blog and/or on our Facebook page HERE

If you were enrolled, you still have access to QF English through the end of August.  I am also keeping the Eseel Workshop for writing free.  You can track those classes on our Eseel FB page HERE  My Chinese friends behind The Great Firewall will have to contact me directly.

Some of you have paid or are paying through alternate means per our previous arrangements (link HERE).  You will receive the monthly links via e-mail as before.  If you wish to pay directly, you can do so via the "Join Us" tab or the paypal link on the right side of most pages on the blog.  Remember that it is only one price whether there is one person or if you have 10 friends sitting at the computer together.  I am now offering over 30 hours of classes per week.  There is even one-on-one time available during the "Help Desk" hours.  If you or a friend want to simply visit, please contact me for a link to a specific class.

Those of you who are business partners can talk to me directly about access to classes.  Also note that you will no longer see any classes listed on the public WizIQ schedule.  This allows all attendees to join a class without the requirement to sign up with WizIQ.  The current classes can always be viewed in the calendar HERE and on the right side of most blog pages.

I have entered into an agreement with Brad at Edulang and Jason of ColloLearn.  English Addicts and English Rap classes begin next week.  You can go to the Edupunk Course tab on the blog for more info. In closing, I ask all of you not to give up on our classes.  If you truly think about it, you sill know that there is no good reason not to continue. It simply takes some effort on your part to figure out how to find a couple of friends to share in the cost.

I truly believe that we have one of the best methods for developing fluency.  I must figure out a way to make this a full-time vocation and that means that we have to treat our relationship like a business
. Thanks for all you have shared with me.  FYI I am now a regular author on FairLanguages.com  One of my duties there is a weekly podcast called the English KISS* here is the LINK

I am at your service and in your debt.
 George
