WizIQ update from the perspective of Edupunk George

As many of you know I am one of the biggest fans of WizIQ.  Their portal and particularly their online classroom has been a boon to all of my online activities. 


For over four years I have grown with them into a professional partnership of Edupreneurial Excellence. Sure there have been bumps in our road together.  But hey! This is a new world we are trailblazing in together. 

 As our paths continue we part and meet again as we both continue the discovery of this new online universe for educators.  They have imperatives that fall entirely out of my realm of concerns.  I have found that even though I do not see our future the same, I can trust their directions.  They truly have a stellar business team, and that is exactly what I need as an independent edupreneur.  The Team Q is constantly doing all the geeky things to keep me in the mainstream of online education.
 
Today I wish to share just one new release.  The Ipad app for our online classroom has been officially released.  The links at the bottom of this posting will give the least of facts.  I do not know if or when I will get an Ipad.  The great thing is that I need not.  WizIQ makes the technology leap transparent for me.  I need do nothing different, they have made the platform conducive to a whole new user community.  The mobile world of learners.

 I believe that in online modes of classes, form follows function.  Skype, Google Groups, Vokle and others certainly serve specific purposes and are adequate for many online teachers.  My prime  system will always be the WizIQ Virtual Classroom because it gives me the most firepower in any situation.  And, the team behind it all are taking me effortlessly into tomorrow.

As an afterthought I am adding a photo album of screen shots from various classes, enjoy and dream your own dreams for this wonderful platform.  I promise that if you can conceive it, Team Q, their head test pilot (me) and you can achieve it!

I agree Marcus.  I feel like a fighter pilot with lots of options on a full computer.  I tried to go with a smart phone but could not make the change over.

I recently got a 24 inch monitor, it sure makes the whiteboard space larger.  If you are debating on whether or not to get a tablet for Wiziq, consider a larger monitor instead at a much lower cost than an ipad.  However, if you need to be mobile then I guess the ipad is the way to go.  Maybe I'll get cheap Chinese knock off version to test with.
