I'm working as an Program Manager at Sarvodaya (www.sarvodaya.org), a national organization working on an integrated development approach. We do have international schools connecting with us especially on their social engagement/community service programs.
At Sarvodaya, my main responsibility is in coordinating the 'Learning To Live Together' - Inter-cultural and Inter-faith Ethics Education program for Children. ( www.ethicseducationforchildren.org ). The program is an international program developed by the Arigatou Foundation in collaboration with UNESCO and UNICEF, coordinated from their office in Geneva. I coordinate the program implementation across South and South-East Asia. I'm involved in programs for Children, training youth leaders & educators on using the 'Learning To Live Together' (LTLT) manual and of recent working with authorities to integrate concepts and approach for National School Curriculum and teacher training.
I'm right now in Tanzania, helping out with some Learning To Live Together programs here and will be back in Sri Lanka from 3rd of July.
