Beam me up?

I have 2-questions;

1. Is it possible to enlarge the video size in WiZiQ to a full screen display or at least 3-quarter size?

2. Is it possible to capture my training session in a traditional classroom via a video camera and link the feed to WiZiQ so that participants elsewhere can attend a class in real time - sort of blending

Warm Regards

Hi Vijay:

Can you specify the video you are talking about? Is it the video in the virtual classroom or the video uploaded in content area [like this one here: http://www.wiziq.com/tutorial/39563-Conception-Animation]. In the first case, when you share the video in the virtual classroom, choose show in the whiteboard option [just below where you select your device] in the video selection window. Now, use the + and - signs to control the display size. In the video in content area, just click on the icon next to where WiZiQ is written.

It is possible to link your live physical classes to virtual classroom. You will need a high quality camera as well as portable mic to capture your voice. In the virtual classroom, select the appropriate devices to broadcast your video and audio. We know of a couple of teachers who have tried this with great success.

Thanks

This is great George.

A tip: Never use all CAPS for your titles. Google and other search engines thinks its SPAM, shouting or irresponsible :(

Using sentence case is the best practice.

Hi Vijay, you may wish to redirect your question to the support team at WIZIQ. Item one is probably an item that would be placed on a wish list. Item 2 is something I have tried with various platforms and I would encourage you to always push the limits. I would say though that any given conferencing software like this at Wiziq has certain concrete goals for performing well. To try to serve a blended televised class may very well force the platform to perform less well at its "prime directive".

But, I am not part of the engineering staff so call down to the engine room at WIZIQ support and ask Scottie if he can push this ship into warp drive.

Live long and prosper,

Vik, sounds like a nice feature can you refer me to a tutorial or previous class that shows the functions you describe? +/- I have only seen the full screen icon when viewing a video.

Never mind, I've got it and will feature it as a tip this coming Saturday in our forum/class My ESL Friends 102

This is one of my first attempts at doing screen captures and making slides for a "How to" . It will be more interesting for you to see the practical use with this in our next meeting at "My ESL Friends" on Saturday, hope you can make it.

OOPS, wrong slide here is the correct one, I sure wish we could remove/edit comments at this forum.
