Ben, I absolutely love your sessions, and somehow I have come to refer to them as YOUR sessions and expect you to come up with the topics - which is not fair... :) But I do want to use yet another opportunity to say you are doing a great job!

As to stuff to discuss (in no particular order):
* case studies (even if it just means I_need_a_shoulder_to_cry_on_cos_a_class_went_t*ts_up... we have to start somewhere!)
* techy issues - EFL online - challenges, aha-moments, doubts, diatribes, trials and tribulations
* book (literature) reviews - in an informal way; have some up my sleeve
* teacher-training and trainer-training? projects for collaboration?  CFP?
* resources we've discovered - I would be happy to share
And what would you like?

All wonderful topics, Elena!  Feel free to add a topic to the wiki (also accessible here) and we'll definitely cover it.

For those new to TESOL Talk, sessions are driven by the attendees and typically begin by a "what's on your mind" type of discussion; that is, discussions are meant to be open, diverse, autonomous, and interactive.  As long as topics are related to TESOL, any issue may be brought up.  Beyond that, I'm afraid I making up the "rules" as I go along.

Sessions up to now have been an absolute pleasure!  I'm scheduling the sessions, but they are really OUR sessions in that they are what they are because of the participation of those involved.  I've been a believer that learning is best achieved when each person has a voice and diversity of opinion is celebrated.  This is the type of learning I hope to continue to have in future TESOL Talk sessions!

What do you think if we start involving students through: Television Network Amateur Radio Club Society of Burundi?
I think we will have opportunity to engage students in TALKING, WATCHING, SPEAKING, RECORDING, WRITTING, PHOTOGRAPHY, DESIGNING....

Arts in healthcare is a best choice-Language & photography or music/video in learning the English.

I have a question: We can think on way to increase students in Burundi to learn english. But a challange is only to know if they will obtain a Diploma or Certifiacate and sooner Bachelor's Degree, Master and Doctorate grades?

Thanks
JC
